HAWKSHEAD SUITE DETAILS

We have two Suites, Eydis and Hertha, which are identical and both have an indoor double spa bath and all the extras included.

OVERVIEW

In the heart of the village centre a private driveway takes you to your parking area, directly outside your own entranceway. From here the softly lit staircase leads you up to the first floor to the most spacious and luxurious of suites.
The open plan lounge, dining and compact kitchen area is a light, spacious and beautifully furnished haven. Mood lighting and a cosy wood-burning stove set the scene for romantic nights. Through the double patio doors in the lounge area you can access the spacious glass balcony, a comfy outdoor seating area to enjoy breakfasts or relax and watch the sunset.
The raised sleeping platform is designed for relaxation, with a sumptuously comfy super king bed and a 40” widescreen TV which can be viewed from all angles. Accessed through the dressing area, is a separate bathroom, which is lavishly complimented with under floor heating and a walk in rain shower. For ultimate pampering, indulgence and to add even more ‘wow factor’ is the most fabulous sunken indoor air double spa bath for two.

Nightly rates per Suite are from:
£245 Sunday to Thursday
£295 Friday and Saturday
There is no minimum length of stay and prices are fixed throughout the year (with the exception of Christmas and New Year)
Please note, this is an adult only accommodation and we are unable to welcome pets to the Suites.

Our Reception, just across the road, is open every day and we are always happy to help with local information, walks, places to visit or anything else you may need.
The suites are available to arrive between 2pm and 8pm, on the day of arrival. Departure is by 11am, at the latest please, on the day of departure. If your arrival time is going to be after 8pm, we kindly ask that you let us know in advance as our Reception will be closed.

Beautiful suites
Beautiful spotless accommodation. Everything has been thought out and it catered for. The bath is just wonderful. Lovely and quiet and a short walk into the village. We will definitely stay again it was fabulous x

Out of this world.
From arriving at the property I was blown away. The room is immaculate and everything you need for a romantic relaxing get away. The room was so clean and every last detail had been thought of. From an arrival hamper with a fully stocked fridge, processco, to a fresh breakfast hamper and a bag of snacks to take home. Not a single detail was forgotten about. Netflix was easy to watch on the tv and the bedroom mirror turned into a TV. It was warm and cosy. Wish I could have stayed an extra night. 20/10 from us. The best place I have ever stayed.

Outstanding service!
Absolutely fantastic venue for a relaxed break from it all. Lovely space where the owners have clearly thought about everything. So many thoughtful touches we weren’t expecting. I would highly recommend Hawkshead Suites to anyone looking for a retreat from it all!

A relaxing luxurious stay
We arrived two hours early on purpose, so we could enjoy the surrounding area, we had tea & scones in a quaint cafe. The photos show an opulent suite, when you arrive you are made to feel instantly relaxed as this company have thought of everything! The sunken jacuzzi, the hidden TV, the fabulous log burner. They left us a mini bar like you’ve never seen. I won’t spoilt your surprise, but you’ll love it! The breakfast is brought to you in a basket – enough for four ppl. So fresh and delightful. Mini bar is stocked daily. We read, listening to music on their Bose speaker, ate goodies, also relaxed in the jacuzzi, it was wonderful. Just the few days away we really needed. Felt thoroughly spoilt staying in the suites, without the myther of having to dress for dinner like you would in a hotel. I had the most wonderful experience of hot stones massage whilst staying there. Our favourite luxurious suite is Hertha.

This is how to do hospitality…
What a wonderful place to stay! Beautiful suite in a perfect location, right next to the village and a short walk to a lovely lake. To have an Elemis spa on the doorstep was an added luxury. This place has everything you need, but it’s the thoughtful extras that makes it stand out from the rest. Breakfast arrived in a cute little basket and our hosts changed the contents each morning, making it a surprise to open up, and a goodie bag for the trip home made us smile. Meghan at the spa is a great therapist who does a fabulous massage and Sophie gave us a lovely, smiley welcome on arrival. Star member of the team is Maverick, the gorgeous dog who is super well behaved but happy to hold court at the desk (thinking he is in charge!) when given permission from his owner. Thank you all for the most perfect break, including the lady who went out of her way to bring us extra coffee, and providing exceptional service. You epitomise everything good about hospitality.

Just Perfect
My wife and I stayed at Hawkshead suites for 3 nights as part of our trip in North England and Scotland… This is maybe the second time in my life I describe a stay as PERFECT. In fact, everything was perfect, the location, the service, the suite itself: its layout, design, amenities etc… every single detail has been looked at to make the stay a very comfortable and luxurious stay… Even the welcome pack that they sent by email was so well prepared… It includes all the details and answers all the questions that you may have about the Suite, the village, the activities! Hats off!

Fantastic apartment right in the centre
Stayed with my partner for 1 night. Really lovely apartment with private parking right outside the door. Easy access through key safe with great communication in advance of the key code. Accomodation was exceptionally clean, well decorated, fridge filled with drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic – Thank you! Lovely lounge area with log burner, patio area on the balcony to sit out although it rained most of the weekend. Lovely bedroom area with bathroom directly off with rain shower. Very large sunken jet bath just off the bedroom. They’ve thought of everything with all lighting controlled with different settings. Really well designed. Special thank you for extra attention with me being vegan – had left vegan butter, chocolate, and vegan breakfast in the morning. Thank you so much for taking the extra care – it was really appreciated!

Amazing stay with some fantatsci persoanl touces
Wow what an amazing place from the plush carpet to the lovely big bath to the amazingly comfortable big bed. The property has all the mod cons to include wood burning fire, air con, mirror that is a TV and fully automated lighting and blinds. The personal touches were lovely to include the basket upon arrival the fully stocked fridge and the continental breakfast in the morning. One piece of constructive feedback I hope you don’t mind me putting here is the blind on the bedroom window could be a a blackout blind as when the sun woke up so did I haha. But this is really only minor. Thank you so much for the flowers and the love heart on the bed these were beautiful touches and my wife felt very loved.

What is there not to like…..
This was our second stay at Hawkshead Suites and it won’t be our last. After a cold blustery winters walk there is nothing better than heading back to the comfort of the suite, pouring a glass of something special, relaxing in the jacuzzi before lighting the wood burner and chilling out for the rest of the night. The communications, the welcome pack, the breakfasts, the departure goody bag, the facilities, the cleanliness …….. it’s all fab and cannot be faulted. We would highly recommend and we will be back!!
