The Suites:
Built in 2017, it was the wish of the late and much respected Bill Barr to retain a Doctor’s Surgery in the village, particularly with the more elderly residents in mind, who found it difficult to travel to Ambleside or Coniston. His family has fulfilled his wish, and the new doctors’ surgery facility opened in September 2017.

The Hawkshead Suites, located in the penthouses above, will ensure sustainability of this much needed, rural village facility.
The suites are unique and are at the leading edge of this area’s luxury, private and spacious accommodation. These newly built penthouses are of the highest quality finish, with the finest and most luxurious of furnishings, providing 5 star accommodation for the most discerning of guests in this most picturesque location.
